Rosa Gil grew up in Cádiz, and became a fan of books and comics as a child. She studied journalism at the University of Navarre, and has worked for various publishing houses and media. She currently contributes to the journal Mujer Hoy. She rediscovered her fascination with literature for young people through her work as an editor for various children’s magazines. Bruno Dhampiro, her first novel, is illustrated by Fernando Vicente, a renowned Spanish painter and illustrator.
