Once there was a village of simple people, where everyone lived by their work. But bad and miserable times came upon them, and an old man appeared who began lending money, tools, goods, and even food. And so, the whole village fell into his hands. He became richer and richer, while the village grew poorer and poorer. But the mysterious arrival of a young apprentice was about to change everything, even the old usurer.
