Molsa is a dog who, without understanding the reason behind wars, has seen his home and the family he lived with disappear when a bomb falls and destroys everything. Among the ruins, he searches in vain for his two children, Janinka and Mirek. But, although he flees to save his life and goes through misfortunes and owners of the most diverse kinds (a wild animal circus, a concentration camp...), the sense of loss does not disappear, and he keeps searching for his children in every scent...
