A group of friends meets every Sunday at a bar in the Recoleta district of Buenos Aires to drink coffee, smoke, not talk much, and read the papers. Everything is quiet until an obituary catches their attention. Under a Star of David, the text says: “My two beauties, cut down in the prime of life, rest in peace. Their mother who loves them.” Their interest grows when they discover that the same obituary appears month after month until it stops suddenly. Carried away by curiosity, the group of friends decides to investigate what happened to the “two beauties”.
