Júlia receives an unexpected inventive when she enters a cradle song she wrote for her daughter in a competition. She wins and uses the prize to cover the cost of a stay and a music course in London, where she will have the chance to rekindle her long-forgotten dream of being a singer-songwriter. Having crossed the threshold of forty, Júlia realises that she isn't living the life she hoped for and that she needs a dose of adventure, sex and freedom faraway from Barcelona.

 For three months, Júlia has the chance to escape her domestic routine, the all-consuming role of motherhood and a marriage that has lost its spark. Naturally, nothing goes as she intended: at the music academy, everyone is younger and more accomplished, and Júlia doesn't fit in at all. And of course, getting laid isn't so easy. But no one can deny Júlia's ability to turn the world on its head and reach glorious heights of public ridicule and humiliation to achieve her goals.
